What's in the Report

Everything a client or QC reviewer needs.

Report Contents

Every report includes a cover page with project name, sequence name, date and the EditLint AI version used for analysis. Followed by a summary section and then the full issue log.

  • Timecode — precise in-point of each detected issue
  • Duration — how long the issue persists
  • Detector — which detector flagged it (e.g. Shaky Footage)
  • Severity — Critical, High, Medium or Low
  • Measured value — the actual number (e.g. peak: –0.3 dBFS)
  • Suggested fix — plain-language action for the editor
  • Status — Open or Resolved (update in panel after fixing)

PDF vs CSV

Two formats. Two use cases.

The PDF report is designed for client delivery and internal QC sign-off. It's formatted, branded with the EditLint AI header, paginated and includes the project metadata. Send it alongside the delivered file as proof of quality review.

The CSV report is designed for editorial workflows and agency quality management systems. Every issue is a row with standardised column headers so you can import it into Notion, Airtable, a QC database or your agency's project management tool.

  • PDF — formatted, paginated, includes cover page and summary
  • CSV — all issues as rows with 8 standard columns
  • Both formats generated from the same analysis data
  • Generated in under 5 seconds after analysis completes
  • Saved to a configurable folder (default: project folder)
Client Delivery Use Case
Before First Cut Review
Run QC on the rough cut and include the report in your client review package. It shows you've done a systematic quality check and documents every issue you're planning to fix.
Final Delivery Sign-Off
Re-run QC on the final cut. If the report shows zero Critical and zero High issues, include it as part of your delivery package to document that a professional QC process was completed.
Agency Internal QC Gate
Use the CSV export as a mandatory QC gate in your agency's workflow. Editors must generate and submit a QC report before a project is approved for delivery.
How It Works

Analyse. Generate. Deliver.

1

Run Any Analysis

Generate a report after any EditLint analysis — Analyze Clip, Analyze Full Sequence, Quality Control or any individual detector. The report includes all issues found in the most recent analysis session for the active sequence.

2

Choose Format and Options

Select PDF, CSV or both. Optionally set the project name, client name and a custom note that appears on the cover page. If you've marked any issues as Resolved in the panel, those will show with a Resolved status in the report.

3

Open the File

The report is generated in under 5 seconds and saved to your configured output folder. The file opens automatically in your default PDF viewer or file manager. Share it via email, attach it to your project management system or include it in your client delivery package.

Show clients the work. Not just the result.

A professional QC report included with every delivery separates you from editors who just hope everything is fine. Generate yours in 5 seconds.
